Switching to Stemfra in two steps
Updated 17 Sep 2026
Moving your business to Stemfra does not mean starting again. Your clients come with you, and the switch itself is two steps.
- 1Bring your client listExport your clients from the tool you use today (the guides in this section show how for each one), then import the file in Clients, or send it to us and we load it for you. Names, emails, phone numbers, birthdays, notes, tags and marketing preferences come across. Clients who unsubscribed stay unsubscribed.
- 2Swap your booking linkOn your Google Business Profile, replace the website and the booking link with your Stemfra address. Do the same in your Instagram bio and anywhere else you share a booking link. From that moment everyone who finds you books on your own site, under your name.
Should I keep my old booking tool running as well?
We do not recommend it. You would pay for two systems, and two calendars invite double bookings. Pick a day, finish the appointments already in the old calendar, and take new bookings on your Stemfra site from that day on.
What comes across, and what does not
| Comes across | Does not |
|---|---|
| Client names, emails and phone numbers | Saved card details (no provider allows this) |
| Birthdays, notes and tags | Past appointment history |
| Email and text marketing preferences | Packages, memberships and gift card balances (tell us, and we set them up with you) |
Appointments already booked
Keep a copy of your upcoming appointments from the old tool (every guide here shows where to find them). You can add them to your Stemfra calendar by hand, or send us the list and we add them for you.
