Add your keys in the dashboard
Once you have created your restricted key in Stripe, adding it to Stemfra takes a moment. Your key is stored encrypted, never as plain text.
Paste your keys
- 1Open paymentsIn your dashboard, go to Settings, then Booking & payments, and find the "Your Stripe account" card.
- 2Paste the restricted keyPut the rk_ key into the Secret / restricted key field.
- 3Paste the publishable key (optional)Put the pk_ key into the Publishable key field.
- 4ConnectLeave the webhook signing secret blank (you do not need it), and choose Connect Stripe.
Stemfra checks the key with Stripe. If it is a proper restricted key, you will see a "restricted" confirmation and the card flips to Connected. If you pasted a broader key, Stemfra warns you so you can swap in a restricted one instead.
Turn on card payments
With Stripe connected, turn on the option to accept card payments at booking. From then on, customers booking a paid service can pay by card, and the money goes to your Stripe account.
You can update or disconnect your keys any time from the same Payments card. To fully revoke access, you can also delete or roll the restricted key inside Stripe (Developers, then API keys).
