Put your website on your Google Business Profile
Your Google Business Profile is the listing that appears on Google Maps and in Google Search with your reviews, opening hours, and photos. For a local business it is often the first place a customer sees you. Once your Stemfra site is live, pointing your listing at it turns those searches into bookings.
If your business already shows up on Google Maps with reviews, you have a profile. Most businesses do, even if nobody remembers creating it. You only need to update it, not start over.
Before you start
Open your Stemfra dashboard and go to the Google Business Profile page. It shows your exact website address and your booking link with copy buttons, so you can paste them into Google without typos. Keep that page open in one tab and Google in another.
Add or update your website on an existing profile
- 1Sign in to GoogleUse the Google account that manages your business listing. Then search Google for your business name. If you manage the listing, an owner panel appears with an "Edit profile" option. You can also go to business.google.com.
- 2Open Edit profileChoose "Edit profile", then look for the contact section with the "Website" field.
- 3Paste your website addressCopy your address from the Stemfra dashboard page and paste it into the Website field. If an old address is there, replace it.
- 4Add your booking linkIf your profile has an "Appointment" or booking link field, paste your Stemfra booking link there too. That puts a book button right on your Google listing.
- 5SaveGoogle sometimes takes a few minutes, and occasionally a review period, before changes show publicly. That is normal.
Keep your name, address, and phone number identical on Google and on your website. Consistent details help Google trust and rank your listing.
If you do not have a profile yet
Go to business.google.com, choose to add your business, and follow the prompts. Google verifies that you really run the business, usually by postcard, phone, or video, which can take a few days. Once verified, follow the steps above to add your website. The Google Business Profile page in your dashboard walks you through the same two paths and lets you tick the step off when you are done.
