How to connect your Google Business Profile

Updated 15 Sep 2026

Your Google Business Profile is the listing on Google Maps and Search with your reviews, hours and photos. Most local clients start there. Once your site is live, pointing the listing at it turns those searches into bookings.

How to connect your Google Business Profile
  1. 1
Open the Google Business Profile pageIn your dashboard, under Website. It shows your exact website address and your booking link with copy buttons, so you can paste them into Google without typos.
  2. 2
Two pathsIf your business already shows on Maps with reviews, you have a profile: choose Yes, I have one. Otherwise choose No, and the page walks you through creating it. Google verifies that you really run the business, usually by postcard, phone or video, which can take a few days.
  3. 3
Put your site on the listingSign in to Google with the account that manages your listing, open Edit profile, and paste your website address into the Website field. If the profile has an appointment or booking link field, paste your booking link there too. Google sometimes takes a few minutes, occasionally a review period, before changes show.
  4. 4
Your review linkYour profile includes a link that opens the review box for your business directly (the owner panel’s Ask for reviews option). Copy it, then paste it under Website, then Notifications, then Automated emails, in the Review request email. About two days after a visit, Stemfra sends the client that link, once per client, ever.

Keep your name, address and phone number identical on Google and on your website. Consistent details help Google trust and rank your listing.
